Peter King creates bold and dreamy sculpture from his studio in Herefordshire. His passions include travel, art, nature and designing and making both abstract and botanical inspired sculpture. He moved from his native Yorkshire to train in Forgework at Hereford College, before continuing his training with a renowned blacksmith in Wales. During this time he worked on the Windsor Castle renovation after the devastating fire, the main project there being to produce a huge iron strap work to adorn the the new entrance doors of St. Georges Hall. After setting up his workshop at Wharton Court in Herefordshire in 1998 he has developed his unique style, incorporating traditional and modern techniques as well as his own imagination and creativity. His work adorns many beautiful gardens at home and abroad and features in R.H.S. show gardens. He has spent time as "Artist in Residence" at "Artspace India" in Kolkata.
